There are over 400 opportunities to choose from. You’ll be amazed at the variety.
Pop into the Bureau and discuss your options informally with staff who offer impartial advice and support. Look at all the opportunities on v-base, or log on to www.do-it.org.uk, you can also click the Do-It icon at the bottom of the page.

PENWITH PALS
You need to register as a volunteer Penwith PAL at the Bureau.
Sue will contact you to arrange a CRB check which is a statutory requirement for all volunteers working with vulnerable clients.
Training is provided if necessary, either in a group or on a one-to-one basis.
Sue will accompany you on your first visit and discuss the placement with both you and the elderly client.
Ongoing encouragement and support is provided.

We consider all requests except housework and personal care
Are you finding it difficult to maintain your independence?
There are various types of equipment which could make your life easier.
We are happy to visit you at home and show you the equipment which is available.
